2. ISSUE 221001:  This PPIB replaces PPIB 2205. Window for upgrade to production
shortened.

3. ISSUE 221002:  NSIPS Software Upgrade Plan - Release 1.4.26
Goal: Update end of life software components to reduce cyber vulnerabilities,
ensure audit compliance, and position the application to support changes needed
in NSIPS as NP2 subsumes the functionality for personnel and pay operations.

a. Key Dates:  
  1.  March 5: Migration Freeze - no software change released to production
      - Emergent changes if NSIPS severely "broken" can be done prior to 1 May
  2.  May 1: Migration freeze - absolutely no changes to production environment
  3.  May 28-30: Software upgrade to production environment (Release 1.4.26)
      - Offline 0600 CDT May 28
      - Online 1100 CDT May 30

b. Elements included in the upgrade: 
  1.  Oracle 19c Relational Database Management System
  2.  PeopleTools 8.59
  3.  Business Objects 4.3 SP1
  4.  MS SQL Server 2019
  5.  Windows 2019 Operating System 

c. Impact: New functionality and defect corrections will be delayed until after May 30, however,
NSIPS will remain fully functional to the fleet with the exception of 28-30 May
as noted in para 3.a.3.
